It is surrounded by olive and fruit trees and secluded by stone walls, hedges and a pergola.
A mountain spring provides an abundant independent source of water.
Casa Oliveto consists of the main house, a small vine covered studio and small stone guest house with a garage.
The main house is set on 3 levels and consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, dining room, kitchen, living room with fireplace, study, two storage rooms and furnace room for central heating. There is a covered outdoor cooking facility attached to the house with a wood burning brick oven and BBQ.
The studio consists of a loft and a small wine cellar. It is approximately 30 m2.
The guest house is set on two levels and consists of a bedroom and bathroom
on the upper floor and an open garage below.
There is also a large swimming pool (14 x 7 meters and 3 meters deep) that is surrounded by vine covered walls, hedges and a pergola with a fireplace and stone table.
The main house has been restored in phases. Though uninhabited for decades, it needs refurbishing in places (floors and windows and doors on the upper levels). The studio was completely renovated 10 years ago and is outfitted with gas heating. The guest house could be converted into a 2 floor apartment with kitchen by obtaining building permits. |
